Furmanac report record increased profitability in their year-end accounts.

The year-end accounts for Furmanac Ltd reported their most successful financial year to date with 5-fold increased profitability. This is an excellent result following a year of heavy investment to support the growing infrastructure of the company.

Furmanac Ltd are the UK’s largest manufacturer of adjustable beds and are also an industry leader in lift and recline chairs. Each piece of Furmanac Ltd furniture is hand made in their West Midlands based factory using materials of the highest quality.

2015 has seen the company become listed as one of ‘1000 Companies to Inspire’ by the London Stock Exchange and the successful launch of their fifth brand, Hestia® Motion. In 2016 Furmanac will continue to develop their five product ranges made up of furniture that puts the end users comfort at heart of everything they do. 2016 will also see continued investment in both Furmanac Ltd’s employees and their infrastructure.

Furmanac Managing Director John Hilliard is delighted with this year’s figures and looks forward to filing the June 2016 results. John explains;

“The Furmanac team delivered a 16% increase in Sales in the 12 months to June 2015 and a 5-fold increase in profitability.

This excellent financial performance heralds the start of this business realising its full potential and the ambitions of its management team.

The strength of the product range in the marketplace, the high capability of the design and manufacturing teams working in an embedded culture of customer super-pleasing are starting to enable the business to deliver controlled growth and impressive financial performance.

There is still more to do. The management team continue their pursuit of excellence across all areas of the business.
